There are many 2-Spirit folks who are not trans and have stated they would not like to take up space in trans spaces and also do not particularly appreciate being misgendered/ having the assumption made they are trans.

This includes the most popular shared 2S authors I see who are not trans (or genderqueer): Joshua Whitehead, Ma-Nee Chacaby, and Billy Ray Belcourt
